Ski Inn 311 by Mountain Vacation Lodging is a beautifully renovated 2-Bedroom 2-Bathroom with ski in ski out access and all the right amenities. With extensive renovations completed in fall of 2023, this condo is ready to deliver the perfect home base for your Steamboat vacation! It features exquisite decor, plush furniture, huge TVs, and a functional, feng shui layout. You'll enjoy views of the Gondola and aspen tree groves from both bedrooms, the living room, and the covered balcony. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are on opposite sides of the living area, creating the perfect separation of space for a good night's sleep. Located just off the Stampede ski trail, this property has true a ski in ski out location that is also walkable to everything in the mountain village area. The development is built with ski vacations in mind, and offers amenities that you'll enjoy after a day out and about. This includes a clubhouse with 2 outdoor hot tubs, 1 indoor hot tub, 2 saunas, and a lounge area. There is also a private shuttle service in ski season. This is a really nice condo in a prime location within walking distance of the Gondolas, Ski School, Ski Rentals, Ticket Office, groceries, restaurants, bars, activities, and of course, trails for skiing, hiking, and biking. The Property:
Mountain Modern is the style, and this condo has some great features. The fall 2023 renovation included all floors, both bathrooms, the kitchen, and more. It brought a brand new fireplace that just cranks out warmth and all new furniture , including beds and mattresses. There's even plush furniture on the balcony, where you'll surely relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and enjoy the view. Keep your eyes peeled for moose or bears. Refresh yourself in the spa like bathrooms and luxury finishes throughout. Hardwood floors, sleek tile, soft close hinges, radiant heat, ceiling fans, an in unit washer and dryer, the list goes on and on. The bedrooms are both large, with ample floor and closet space. You will not feel cramped at all. Bedroom 1 has a King bed, private ensuite bathroom, wall mounted 65 inch HDTV, a desk with chair, dresser, double closet, ceiling fan, and views of the gondola from the bed. The second bedroom has a Full bed and an extra long Twin bed, a wall mounted 60 inch HDTV, desk with chair, dresser, double closet, ceiling fan, gondola views, adjacent bathroom. The main living area is in the middle of the condo, providing a nice separation of space between the two bedrooms. Features of this room include a chaise lounge sofa with Queen sleeper, chair with ottoman, wall mounted 75 inch HDTV, a beautiful new gas fireplace, ceiling fan, and of course, views of the gondola passing by. The dining table and chairs are stylish & comfy. The kitchen is beautiful and while compact, it is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and some extras too.

Location:
This development has a true ski in ski out location, and this building has the best location within the development for ski access. There is a groomed trail of about 50 yards, or less, which links the building and the Steamboat Ski Resort's "Stampede" ski trail. When you're headed out, this short ski access trail has a very gentle uphill grade that you could skate ski up, or simply walk up. When you're coming home, the gentle grade is downhill, so you'll be able to ski right back to the building! It's very convenient!! Just pop off your skis, head inside, drop off your skis at the ski locker, and then relax in your beautiful condo! This development is located on the appropriately named Ski Trail Lane, only about 100 meters up the street from its intersection with Apres Ski Way. Also, this location is only a few hundred meters from the center of the mountain village and base area, including both Gondolas. If you're not skiing, you can walk down the sidewalk along Apres Ski Way, and very quickly you'll come to a host of restaurants, bars, ski rental shops, and even a small grocery store. Or, if you prefer, you can also walk right down the edge of the ski slopes, since the Stampede ski trail is a gentle, beginner level trail. Guests visiting in spring, summer, and fall will love this location too. Hiking and biking trails are right out your door, and in both winter and summer, the base area plays host to events, concerts, and activities. This condo is right where you want to be during your visit to Steamboat.

Getting around - Steamboat's Free Bus and Private Shuttle Service:
Operating year round, the Steamboat Springs free city bus service is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Forget paying for gas, finding parking, or driving in icy, snowy conditions. Just hop on the free bus and get anywhere in town! You can pick up the bus right at the corner of Ski Trail Lane and Apres Ski Way, which is very close by, a short walk of about 100 yards. In ski season, the condo's HOA provides a free private shuttle service to all owners and guests. Just call the onsite front desk if you want a ride somewhere, or a ride home. It's like having a free taxi at your service. Since the mountain village is very walkable, you might only use this service to get to and from places farther from home, such as the big supermarkets, or downtown. Either way, the shuttle is a very nice amenity to have available. If you don't feel like walking or the weather isn't ideal, the shuttle is there for your benefit. Summer guests will probably want a car, since Steamboat is surrounded by 3 wilderness areas, 4 state parks, and the Routt National Forest. There are so many amazing places to explore! However, in ski season, with the shuttle, you might skip the cost of a rental car and save that money for things that are more fun, like visiting the hot springs, the ice arena, some snowmobiling or snow cat skiing.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
This property has an onsite front desk, so checking in is easy, but instructions are provided for your reference after you book the property. The front desk, clubhouse, and amenities are right next to the condo building. There are no elevators at this development, but only one flight of stairs are required to access the condo and the clubhouse. Once you're inside, the condo is all on one level. Parking is provided free of charge. There are multiple small parking lots at this development. The spaces are shared, not assigned, and generally there is ample parking. Please note that trailers are not allowed, typically. If you will have a trailer, please contact us before booking, to confirm if it might be possible to park it onsite. If not, we can provide you with information and options for parking the trailer offsite.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property.
